Yes!  We have a small demo kit that you or your install team can come and assemble at our factory. We will discuss all variations of connection detail and make sure that you are fully confident when assembling your first kit. We are always at hand to answer questions even when you are on site (Monday to Friday during office hours).

Bespoke building kits are typically 4-8 weeks depending on the need for structural calculations to be provided and also if we are supplying your windows, doors and external cladding.

We have a stock range of buildings that we usually hold in stock and we can provide these in a matter of days from point of order.

The short answer is generally no. The majority of our buildings are designed to comply with Permitted Development guidelines which means they can simply be built without the need of planning permission. However, we always advise homeowners to check with their local authority as there are some areas that can be discounted from these rules.

Guidelines for permitted development can be found here: https://www.planningportal.co.uk/info/200130/common_projects/43/outbuildings

A good solid foundation or base is important. Our SIP panel buildings are heavier than traditional buildings due to the extra structure and density of insulation so ensuring there is something solid to build upon is vital. We have a few simple cost-effective solutions to choose from that include adjustable footpads, screw piles and full concrete pads.

We are yet to be beaten by a supplied design. There seems to be a myth that SIPs have limitations making timber frame more flexible. This is not the case – feel free to challenge us!

With more than just TLC, if the building is properly maintained the SIP panel structure should last in excess of 50 years. With other key components including cladding and rubber roofing having lifespans to match, your building will be yours to enjoy for many years!

This depends on your experience with SIP, typically a 6x3m building with a bifold would take a 3 man team 2 days to externally build to a water tight finish and a further 2 days to finish the cladding and roofing trim.  As a comparison to timber frame the assembly time is about 1/3 to 1/2.

Yes!  We have a range of options for eco-friendly solar power and its addition not only helps the environment but also significantly reduces running costs. Details of solar panel options can be found on the ‘upgrade options’ section of each building page.

We do not offer a garden room install service. We regularly receive install enquiries and guide the customer to the nearest and most suitable installer we know.

Unless bespoke delivery arrangements are made, your building will arrive flat packed on a pallet, banded and wrapped for protection. Each component of the flat pack kit comes clearly labelled accompanied by a comprehensive instruction guide featuring step by step images and explanations of each stage of the build. We use a nationwide network of hauliers and depending on the size of your building will arrive on either a fixed or articulated goods vehicle.  Our hauliers will do everything possible to position the pallets as close to your property as possible and access requirements will be discussed prior to shipping.  All our hauliers have the facility to offload using pallet trucks or small portable forklifts but on occasion, assistance may be required.

Of course!  Our in house designers are more than happy to work with you on a bespoke design or enhancement to a standard building.  We have a comprehensive building configurator that is designed to suit most requirements but we can be as creative as you want us to be! 75% of the kits we produce are fully bespoke.

Upon placing an order we will ask for a 50% deposit with the remainder being payable shortly prior to delivery.

Yes, we have a number of suppliers who we source both Aluminium and uPVC windows and doors from. In most cases we can be more competitive than if you were to deal direct due to the volume we buy on a weekly basis. Typical lead times are 4-6 weeks however we do hold some options in stock.

Our nationwide network of hauliers are logistics experts in their own right. Even the narrowest of lanes, tallest of walls or even if there is a building in the way there is nearly always a way to overcome it. If all else fails each component of the building can be reduced to 1/2 size panels that are able to be carried through tight openings. We will discuss any special requirements and find a solution.
